Can do 1D linear optimization (for bars and pipes). The Height of the pieces must be set to 0 for this case.

Settings (technical, interface, language) have been moved under the Settings menu.

Showing/hiding columns commands have been moved under the Columns toolbars of Parts and Stock.

New commands for Parts and Stock are available from the Additional button in the corresponding toolbars.

Load (from XML) and Import (from CSV) are now 2 separate commands.

New commands for Import and Append (to existing data) for Parts and Stock.

XY origin and direction has been moved from the Main Results toolbar in the Results (2D and True Shape) toolbars as it is not relevant for 1D Results.

Project commands have been renamed to Import and Export to make clear their purpose.

Print and Print Preview commands have been unified under the Print button.

New commands for showing/hiding information on a rectangular sheet. They are available from the Additional button of 2D Results.

A new command for appending more rows to Parts and Stock tables is available under the Additional buttons. Previously rows could be added only by pressing the Down button on the last row.

Results can be shown in Tabular format (containing the coordinates of a piece).

There are some new predefined folders in the working folder. Parts are saved in a special folder named parts. Results and Statistics are saved in the results folder. Projects are saved to projects folder.

Bug fix to the multi-stage algorithm of the rectangular optimization.

Bug fix for incorrectly splitting multiples entities in a DXF file to multiple rows of the program.

Various bug fixes and improvements.

True shape nesting optimization

We are happy to announce the release of a nesting software capable of handling complex shapes represented by polygons and circles. Polygons can have straight edges or arcs.

The software is called Next Nesting Software X and can be tested from here: http://www.nesting-technologies.com . Next Nesting Software X runs on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.

Currently the software is in beta test … so if you are welcomed in helping us to eliminate the bugs.
