Nesting and Cutting Optimization Software

Fixed bug (introduced in 5.18.0.64) in the random numbers generator. Because of this bug, fewer layouts were explored when determining the optimal solution.

Add the possibility to show/hide some information on sheets (like Material, Label, Utilization, Utilization percent) from the Additional options in the 2D Results toolbar.

Bug fixed when right-click on the temporary panel containing moved pieces could crash the application.

Bug fixing

• Bug fixed for incorrectly converting real values to fractional values.
• Bug fixed for not printing the statistics of utilized edge bands.
• Bug fixed for not displaying the corect color for fixed columns of the Parts and Stock grids.

New features

• Results (images, tables, statistics) are saved, by default, into a new folder called Results which is created in the Working folder.

Reorganization/Improvements

• Only rows that have been pasted from Clipboard are fixed in the Parts and Stock grids. All other rows are left intact even if they contain invalid data.
• The empty cells from the grinding and trim columns after pasting data are not filled with 0.
• In the Import window, a message is shown stating that the header of a column can be changed by clicking on it (on header).
• Rows containing incomplete data are allowed when saving Parts. Still, incomplete rows are deleted when starting optimization.

Bug fixing

• Fixed a bug where grinding/polishing of parts was not properly set after returning from the external window where those value can be set (not directly inside the grid).
• Fixed a bug where the Same for all options was not visible inside the Grinding Set window.
• Fixed a bug where the new, manually added, materials in the combobox of Parts and Stock were lost after loading a file containing parts or a project.

New features

• Length and Width of the piece are shown when trying to set Edge bands, Grinding or Trim in an external window

Fixed a bug where the window containing the list of edge bands is not properly refreshed.

Some windows will not automatically close when the user press Enter on the grid component.

Fixed a bug where the output of 1D optimization is converted to fractional-values from real-values input.

Fixed a bug when saving extra components list to csv files.

An error message is shown when the length of Parts or Stock is 0. Since version 5.18 only Width can be 0 (for linear pieces, like bars, pipes etc).

Fixed a bug where the cursor was shown at the beginning of the cell when the option of setting the same grinding and edge band for all edges was on.

Fixed a bug where the name of the Parts file was not correctly shown and set.

Bug fixed when printing multiple sheets per page and the origin of axis is set to the bottom left.

Fixed a bug (introduced in 5.18.0.47) where the grain direction was not shown in the combo box of parts and stock tables.
