2D Cut thickness. - The cutting blade width for 2D (rectangular) materials such as wood, glass, etc. For glass cutting this parameter should be 0. For wood cutting this parameter should be greater than 0.
2D Minimal useful width - The sheets having the size (width or length) less than this value will not be inserted in the REPOSITORY.
Minimal Width Breakage - One can not cut a piece which have one size less than this value.
Maximal Cutting Length - The maximal length a cut can have in a 2D optimization.
Optimization Type - Guillotine (from edge to edge), Non-guillotine (follow the contour of pieces) or Multi-stages.
In the case of Multi-stage optimization there can be specified other parameters:
First cut - 2 stages - Specify how the first cut is performed in the case of multi-stage optimization. The cuts are in the next stage are perpendicular on the cuts in the current stage.
Number of stages - In how many stages the cut are performed.
Pieces of the same height in the last stage.
Height tolerance - if the previous option is set ... this parameter will tell us which is the admitted tolerance for the same height. Set this parameter to 0 if you want only pieces of the same height (distance to cuts is the same) in the last stage.
Default - This will restore the initial values for the parameters. The current settings will be lost.
Cut thickness. - The cutting blade width for 1D (linear) materials such as pipes, bars, etc.
Minimal waste size to inventory - The pieces having the size less than this value will not be inserted in the REPOSITORY.
Max pieces per bar - The maximum number of parts that can be cut from a bar.
Limits for waste - Waste can be either greater than a value or smaller than value. Waste cannot be between those 2 values.
Fractional values must be rounded to - All sizes and parameters given as imperial units are rounded by using this parameter.
Stock price - Price of items from Stock is given either as price of entire item or as price of unit of a item.
Optimization - Controls the speed and the quality of the optimization. These two parameters balance each other: increasing one of them will lead to a decrease for the other.
Trim all edges from beginning - Stock pieces which have defects will be trimmed before cutting of parts will take place. If option is not checked, only the area corresponding to cut pieces will be trimmed.
Subtract the band thickness from piece size - If checked, the edge band thickness will be subtracted from the sizes of the pieces where that band is applied.
Add grinding thickness to part size - If checked, the values from the Grinding columns of parts will be added to the original part size.
