{"id":71,"date":"2012-08-03T17:40:55","date_gmt":"2012-08-03T14:40:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/optimalprograms.com\/blog\/?p=71"},"modified":"2012-08-03T17:41:39","modified_gmt":"2012-08-03T14:41:39","slug":"restoring-an-old-inventory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/optimalprograms.com\/blog\/?p=71","title":{"rendered":"Restoring an old inventory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cutting Optimization pro saves a backup copy of its almost all files.<\/p>\n<p>These copies are placed in the &#8220;backup&#8221; folder from the working directory (you can find the working directory by pressing menu Settings | Working directory).<\/p>\n<p>In the backup folder are other folders for inventory, materials, edge bands, extra components etc.<\/p>\n<p>Copies of the inventory are saved in the &#8220;stock&#8221; folder. The name of these files have the following structure:<\/p>\n<p>initial name_year_month_day_hour_minute_second.extension,<\/p>\n<p>where year, month, day, hour, minute, second specify the date and time of saving.<\/p>\n<p>You can easily restore any of the previously saved inventory by taking one of the old files and by copying its content to the existing inventory file.<\/p>\n<p>Now, you can restore an old inventory with few clicks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Go to menu History | Inventory. A list of files should appear. There is a table which has the file name on the first column and date of creation on the second column.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Select the desired file.
