Here is a list with what is new:<\/p>\n<h3>Bug fixing<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\nBug fixed for not considering edge-band tolerance.<\/li>\n<li>\nBug fixed for duplicating columns name in the importing from (Excel or CSV) window.<\/li>\n<li>\nBug fixed in linear engine (1D) for some particular cases with <em>Priority<\/em> different from 0 which can result in the crash of the application.<\/li>\n<li>\nFixed sorting thickness column in the <em>Edge bands<\/em> window.<\/li>\n<li>\nFixed a problem with duplicate materials in the lists of sheets, extra components and edge bands.<\/li>\n<li>\nFixed a problem with the main window freezing when is too small.<\/li>\n<li>\nTest for not mixing fractional with real values inside the extra components of part&#8217;s quantities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>New features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<em>Projects<\/em> are introduced. A project contains parts, stock, materials, technical settings and results. <em>Projects<\/em> are saved, by default, to <em>Working folder\\\\Project<\/em>. <em>Projects<\/em> can contain comments, which are visible in the <em>Project | About window<\/em>. <em>Interface settings<\/em> are not saved\/loaded within a project.<\/li>\n<li>\nCan load entire project (parts, stock, parameters and results) at startup (from command line). Example to call: <em>cut.exe &#8220;c:\\\\temp\\\\project.xml&#8221;<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>\nAn option for <em>Import and append<\/em> of Stock has been added under the Stock <em>Excel<\/em> button.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Extra components<\/em> quantities can be fractional numbers too (e.g. 100 1\/2). Previously only real values (e.g. 100.5) were accepted.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Results 1D, Materials, Edge Bands, Extra Components, Extra Components from Parts<\/em> grids now have a column with the index.<\/li>\n<li>\nMost statistics tables have grids an <em>index<\/em> column that can be shown\/hide from the checkbox in the <em>Interface Settings<\/em> window.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Summary<\/em> table has a new column containing the label of the sheet.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Materials statistics 1D<\/em> have a new column containing the number of pieces.<\/li>\n<li>\nWhen changing the <em>Working folder<\/em>, if the <em>stock2d.xml<\/em> is detected in the new folder, no files are moved there, and the existing files (from that folder) are loaded into the program.<\/li>\n<li>\nThe origin of XY axis is drawn in a corner (top or bottom) of the image.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>1D results<\/em> can be shown as text or graphically.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>2D results<\/em> can be saved to PNG format.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>1D results<\/em> can be saved to PNG and BMP formats.<\/li>\n<li>\nMaterials and edge bands lists are also saved to CSV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Reorganization\/Improvements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\nBetter optimization.<\/li>\n<li>\nThe rectangular (2D) results have been moved to a separate panel. They are not mixed anymore with <em>Results 1D<\/em> and <em>Statistics<\/em> tabs. In this way the statistics can be accessed easily without scrolling the entire list of sheets.<\/li>\n<li>\nAll statistics (2D, 1D, extra components, edge bands and total price) have been moved on a separate tab.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Import<\/em>, <em>Import and append<\/em>, <em>Export<\/em>, from\/to Excel and CSV, (for Parts) have been moved under a new button in the Parts&#8217;s toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Show piece index only<\/em> has been moved from <em>Interface<\/em> window to the main window | <em>Additional<\/em> options from the <em>Results 2D<\/em> popup menu.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Show cut length<\/em> has been moved from <em>Interface<\/em> window to the main window | <em>Additional<\/em> options from the <em>Results 2D<\/em> popup menu.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Show waste size<\/em> option has been moved under the <em>Additional<\/em> options button of the <em>Results 2D<\/em> toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Results<\/em> menu has been renamed to <em>Project<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>History<\/em> of Stock and Waste have been moved from main menu to the <em>Stock<\/em> toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Find optimal stock size<\/em> has been moved under the <em>Stock|Tools<\/em> toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Parts<\/em> are saved, by default, to <em>Working folder\\\\Parts<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Language<\/em> menu has been moved as submenu of the <em>Settings<\/em> menu.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Updates<\/em> menu has been moved to the top menu.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Two panels<\/em> options has been moved to the <em>Settings<\/em> menu.<\/li>\n<li>\nFractional values are not rounded (up or down) anymore. Instead, an error message is shown if fractional values are not rounded correctly.<\/li>\n<li>\nThe table with List of products has been moved to the left of <em>Products<\/em> window.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Extra components<\/em> panel from the <em>Products<\/em> window has been removed and the extra components can be added, to a product, from the corresponding button in the toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Append products to Parts<\/em> window has been reorganized.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Price<\/em> statistics has been moved in a separate tab. This is shown only if there are multiple statistics (<em>Results 2D, Results 1D, Edge bands, Extra components<\/em>). Otherwise the price should be taken from each separate statistic.<\/li>\n<li>\nThe button which displays the list of pieces as a table has been moved from the main toolbar to the <em>Results 2D<\/em> tab.<\/li>\n<li>\nStatus bar (at the bottom of the main window) is only visible for rectangular results.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Undo Accept<\/em> button has been moved from the main menu to the <em>Results<\/em> toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Font<\/em> button for 2D graphics has been moved to a separate tab in the <em>Interface<\/em> window.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>DXF export options<\/em> make distinction between labels and sizes of sheets and parts.<\/li>\n<li>\nDefault names for most of the save dialogs. The default name is postfixed by the current date [YY_MM_DD_HH_MM_SS].<\/li>\n<li>\nImproved language translations. Language&#8217;s name are shown in the native form.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>About<\/em> window has been redesigned and simplified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Deprecation<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\nFor the 1D case only the <em>Width<\/em> of a piece can be 0. Pieces with the <em>Length<\/em> 0 are not considered as being valid anymore.<\/li>\n<li>\nNo more support from loading data from old versions of the program (<em>dbt<\/em> and <em>xtx<\/em> files).<\/li>\n<li>\nThe name of the material is not shown as a separate column of <em>Pieces list<\/em> window since all pieces are made from the same material.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Help | Service | Load everything<\/em> is not available for end-users. Use the <em>Project<\/em> menu instead.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Export to Word<\/em> is not available for materials, edge bands and extra components. Use the export to <em>Excel<\/em> instead.<\/li>\n<li>\n<em>Cuts<\/em> table from <em>Statistics 1D<\/em> has been removed because it contained duplicate information already presented in the <em>Results 1D<\/em> tab.<\/li>\n<li>\nSome options from the <em>Print options<\/em> window have been removed and the current options from the screen view are taken into account instead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cutting Optimization pro 5.18.0.47 is now (2024.09.14) released.
